- A plastic spatula
- A heat gun

- Using a heat gun, heat the rear window of your Xperia Z1 to soften the glue.
- Slide a plastic spatula between the rear window and the frame and gently pry them apart.
- Remove the rear window of your Sony Xperia Z1.
- Remove the 9 Torx screws that are used to hold the internal chassis of your Xperia Z1.
- Insert your spatula between the inner frame and the display block and gently pry them apart.
- Disconnect the battery connector from the motherboard.
- Using your plastic spatula, take off the battery for your Sony Xperia Z1 from the chassis.
- Disconnect the 2 coaxial cables located around the external speaker.
- Carefully pry the external speaker of your Xperia Z1 in order to remove it.
- Peel off the charging connector ribbon with a plastic spatula, then use a precision tweezer to remove it.
- Reuse your plastic spatula to peel off the Sony Xperia Z1 power, volume and microphone pad.
- Disconnect the mat from the rear camera and gently pry it out of the slot.
- Using your plastic spatula, disconnect the vibrator connection from the motherboard.
- Disconnect the mat from the jack and then gently pry it up to remove the motherboard.
- You can now upload the motherboard of your Sony Xperia Z1.
- Get the small metal element and the jack of your Sony laptop .
- Peel off and remove the internal speaker with your plastic spatula.
- Insert your spatula into the gap between the frame and the complete screen, then gently pry them apart.
